Workers and leaders work independently making decisions and reacting to leader’s agenda rather than working collaboratively to solve issues (Nelson & Squires, 2017). The most effective collaborative approaches to leadership will be the collaborative model. The model influence putting great mine and ideas together in order to solve issues. Instead of having individual agendas leaders can work together and to come up with a solution for current issues. Coercive leadership approach can be negative and an ineffective wat to achieve desired results. Coercive leadership can promote bullish behavior forcing to persuade people to do things according to their agenda or goals. By behaving in such manner can create resentment and conflict amongst leaders and followers. On a positive side it can possibly bring together people due to conflict. On a negative side it can cause conflict as there are many opinions and one agenda. Having very strong minded people working on one agenda can cause conflict. Using collaborative approach brings together strong minded ideas.
