Read the 4 scenarios posted in the Resources area for week 5.

Pick 2 (only 2) scenarios to discuss. Indicate the scenario number as it appears in the Week 5 resource.

For example, if you plan to discuss scenario 3 and 4, create two level 1 headings, Scenario 3 and Scenario 4. You may add additional APA headings as you see fit to organize your writing. Be sure to discuss all 4 components for each of the 2 selected scenarios. Please do not include the actual scenario from the Resources area as part of the submission – as this will adversely affect the SafeAssign score.

Some key concepts to consider and discuss include: sample size and the central limit theorem, type of sample, alpha,p-value, statistical significance, meaningfulness (effect size), power, Type I error, Type II error, and implications for positive social change.

Refer to course readings (e.g. Frankfort-Nachmias & Leon-Guerrero, 2015; and Warner, 2012) and resources to support your response. Write in a scholarly tone and follow APA format. Your document should be in Word, have a title page (no abstract), text, and a references list. Use minimal quotes; but, if you do quote you must cite quoted material correctly by including the author names, publication date, and the page number of the quoted material.

Restrict your response to 2 to 3 pages of written text, total.
